Hey friends!
I bet some of you are missing camping trips, long beach weekends, Spring Break, festivals, park openings, etc. For me, one of the hardest things about staying close to home meant the loss of a spring trip to New Orleans to the French Quarter (food & music) Festival.

Oh how my heart misses NOLA!
Even though we can’t be exactly where we want to be right now, we can always dream, can’t we? So that’s what we are going to do today for this writing prompt.
- Pick your favorite travel spot: beach, mountains, etc.
- OR… pick your “bucket list” travel spot

Providence Canyon State Park, GA… which is on my bucket list!
- Now, use your imagination and create a packing list for this imaginary trip.
Again… USE YOUR IMAGINATION – Perhaps your getting their by submarine! If so, you’re going to be able to pack a whole lot more. Maybe you’ll be parachuting down onto your little private island in the Caribbean. Well then, you’re gonna need to pack much lighter!
Depending on how rustic your trip will be, you may want to remember the basics of food, water, shelter, warmth, light, etc.

Don’t forget comfort items such as a comfy blanket, a snugly stuffed animal, the softest pillow you have, etc.

Let me try:
Here’s my trip: a super-long weekend in North Myrtle Beach
I’m going to pack:
Beach towels, bathing suits, and all of my suntan lotions
My beach umbrella, sunglasses and a floppy hat
Banana Boat “After Sun” Lotion… because I always burn the tops of my shoulders.
Shorts and soft t-shirts
My blue blanket and my favorite pillow
Books & magazines to read
Writing material, of course
And last, but not least… Spending $$$ for shopping at the Tanger Outlets!

I hope that you will take some time and take an imaginary family journey and create your packing list, too. Enjoy!
HAPPY TUESDAY! Stay safe & well!
