The members of A.L. Brown High’s cheer leading squad are making the local news for their “Cheer-READING” skills. Since the beginning of distant learning several weeks ago, the members have been taking turns doing virtual read-alouds with their favorite children’s books.

A.L. Brown High School is located in Kannapolis, N.C. The mascot is the “Wonder” and the entire Kannapolis City School System (which is quaint, and family-oriented) uses the social media hashtag, #beawonder.

I’m very impressed with these young ladies and gents for taking a bad situation and turning it into something productive and community-oriented.
