A MONSTROUS DANCE PARTY
An earie noise heard down the hall.
Shadows break dance upon the wall.
What on earth?
What can it be?
Monsters slurping candy-corn tea.
Monsters, you say? They’re really real?
Of course, they are! I’ve heard them squeal.
You’re serious?
What did you do?
I ran outside; in jammies, too!
The monsters partied with the ghosts.
They swirled and twirled ‘round my bedposts.
What’d you think?
How did you feel?
They left me out so I was ill.
One saw me pouting; called me in.
We played and danced right in the den.
It was a very Happy Halloween!
Well, I am now officially exhausted by all this partying! I wish we all had tomorrow off. Great story!
Every Nov. 1st should be a day off! I’m with you there! Thanks for reading my story!
Glad the kid got to join at the end. Fun story. Good Luck. 😉
Thanks so much! I needed about 108 words to really finish it like I wanted to. Hard to do 100 words, isn’t it?
I think I’m going to try candy corns in my tea tonight. Good luck!
Haha. Bet it’s crunchy!
Oh my goodness! So much wild Halloween partying fun! Glad the kid got to be part of it in the end! Thanks for another fun entry, Maria!
Thanks for reading. I know you’ve had a lot to look at the past couple of days!
