Sun Safety Information

Spring is here and the weather is getting warmer. For our area of North Carolina, Spring break is just around the corner.

When you are out and about, make sure your family is following sun safety tips:

SLIP on a t-shirt that will keep shoulders covered.

SLOP on sunscreen. (min. SPF 30 with high/broad-spectrum UVA protection)

SLAP on a broad brimmed hat that will shade your face, neck, and ears.

SLIDE on sunglasses to protect your eyes.

and…

SHADE yourself from the sun whenever possible, particularly between the hours of 11:00 to 3:00.
